Harry Potter (31 July 1980 - 31 October 1981) was the only son of James and Lily Potter and was a candidate for the child spoken about in the prophecy spoken by Sibyll Trelawny. He was kidnapped by Peter Pettigrew on Halloween 1981 and murdered by Lord Voldemort. His death brought about the crack in the universe that created this alternate reality.
